Bearwood Lakes – Libby’s ChallengeLeave a Comment
Saturday 8th June KC and Swainey were on the M4 bright and early to perform the Golf Trick Shot Boys at the picturesque Bearwood Lakes in Berkshire. The event, organised by the members was to help raise money for Libby’s Challenge.
The audience had a special interest in the show as each of them bought a lottery ball numbered from 01 – 150…..The 150 balls were to be hit during the Trick Shot Boys Show with the winning ball being the longest drive which could come from either KC or Swainey! Without doubt the stand out shot for distance was demonstrated by Kevin after stepping in to rescue his partner who saw the funny side of struggling with the 8 foot long driver!
Thanks to Geoff and Cobra, the prize for the lucky winner would receive a Cobra Driver!!!
Thankfully the sun shone down on Libby’s Golf Day and the members were out in force to support the charity.
Here’s Swainey taking advantage and making the most of a beautiful sunny morning in Berkshire with one of the willing volunteers.
Both Kevin and Geoff had a great time at the club and were made to feel very welcome by everyone involved. We hope it’s not too long before we’ll be back at Bearwood Lakes soon. Next stop for us Trick Boys is Woburn Golf Club with Ryder Cup star Ian Poulter and the Dreamflight Golf Day.
