Youth Ministry Team Charity Golf Day

Leave a Comment Ant & Dec Youth Ministry Team Charity Golf Day

We continued our busy run of shows with a trip to the North East, to the impressive De Vere Slaley Hall in Hexam for the YMT Charity Golf Day. The event supported by Britain’s Got Talent favourites Ant and Dec was organised by Dec’s brother, Father Dermott Donnelly.

The annual Youth Ministry Golf Day, in aid of the Youth Village near Conset is an important fixture for the charities fundraising year. The charity aims to help young people  reach their full potential, to encourage them to be the best they can and with Ant & Dec in the starting line up, the golf day is always well attended including Newcastle and England legends Alan Shearer and Peter Beardsley. Please log on to Youth Ministry Team Website for more details.

We were due to kick off at 11am however due to the rain, we performed the show after everybody completed there round. It turned out to be the right decision as everyone was able to enjoy the show in the dry with a beer in hand. For myself and Swainey, it was well worth the wait, as we put on a blinding show which finished in style with our signature trick striking a moving ball from Swainey’s shoulders.

We would personally like to thank Karen Thornton-Brown from Youth Ministry Team Website for booking The Golf Trick Shot Boys. We had a great time, made lots of new friends and continues to help raise our profile as being a highly entertaining Trick Shot Double Act.
