R.S. Hoyt JR Dream Day – WM Phoenix OpenLeave a Comment
Our debut gig in the U.S doesn’t get much bigger than The Waste Management Phoenix Open.
Performing for The R.S Hoyt JR Foundation Dream Day in conjunction with ‘The Thunderbirds’ and ‘The First Tee Phoenix’, was a day to remember and will rank right up there as one of our best shows. Prior to the show the kids had a great time taking part in some fun golf related games organised by ‘The First Tee Phoenix’. First Tee do a brilliant job in helping shape the lives of kids and teenagers from all walks of live by introducing them to the game of golf that has values such as integrity and respect. The Thunderbirds are a non profit organisation who kindly distribute monies raised through the Waste Management Open.
During the show, the kids were unbelievable, they made so much noise, it was a lot of fun and a very special day for us Trick Shot Boys to be a part of.
Another NEW Trick involving KC’s Gym ball went down a storm, however when speaking with the kids after the show, many enjoyed the Unicycle Tricks… After the show we must have signed hundreds of caps, t shirts and even iPhone cases!! The response and feedback from everyone was overwhelming.
The week got better and better, as on Friday night we were invited to watch Kid Rock headline at The Waste Management Birds Nest Gig. It was some atmosphere and Kid Rock had the fans rocking…..To round off a superb week we soaked up the atmosphere on one of golf’s loudest holes, the Par 3 16th.
It has been an unliveable experience and the most amazing week. We would like to thank John Creighton from the Thunderbirds for allowing us the opportunity to showcase our tricks at such a great event.
